About Avion Care

More Than a Provider, We’re a Partner

We work alongside NDIS participants and their families to build support that fits an actual life — with the same people, week after week.

Who We Are

Support built around
the person, not the plan

Avion Care began with a simple conviction: that disability support works best when it is built around somebody’s actual life — their routines, their relationships, the things they want to get better at — rather than around a list of billable line items.

We are a team of support workers, coordinators and allied health partners who work with NDIS participants across Australia. Some people see us for a couple of hours a week. Others live in homes we support around the clock. What stays the same is who makes the decisions: you do.

Our Values

What we hold ourselves to

These are not posters on a wall. They are the questions we ask in supervision, in planning meetings, and whenever something has not gone the way it should.

  • Participant Focused

Your goals set the agenda. We ask what a good week looks like for you, then build the roster around that answer — not the other way round.

  • Trusted & Safe

Screened, trained and supervised workers, clear incident reporting, and practice that follows the NDIS Code of Conduct.

  • Inclusive & Respectful

Culture, language, faith, gender and sexuality are part of who you are. We match workers thoughtfully and we listen when the match is wrong.

  • Community Connected

Real inclusion happens outside the house — at the gym, the class, the job, the family barbecue. We support the whole life, not just the home.

  • Honest About Progress

We record what is working and what is not, and we say so plainly at review time, even when the honest answer is that something needs to change.

  • Consistent People

Support is a relationship. We roster for continuity so you are not re-explaining yourself to somebody new every fortnight.

How We Work

From first call to first shift

There is no obligation at any point, and nothing is locked in until you say so.

  1. Have a conversation

Call, email or send the enquiry form. We will ask what support you are looking for, what funding you have, and when you would like to start.

  2. Meet and plan together

We sit down with you — and whoever you want in the room — to map out goals, routines, preferences and any risks we need to plan around.

  3. Agree the details in writing

You get a service agreement setting out what we will deliver, when, at what cost, and how either of us can change or end it.

  4. Meet your support team

We introduce the workers we think are the right fit. If the match is not right, tell us and we will change it — that is not a difficult conversation for us.

  5. Review and adjust

We check in regularly and formally review with you at least every six months, or sooner whenever something in your life changes.

Our Team

The people who turn up

Every Avion Care worker completes a screening and induction process before their first shift, and ongoing training after it.

Before a worker is rostered to you, they hold:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check and, where required, a Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module and Code of Conduct training
  • First aid and CPR, kept current
  • Manual handling and safe transfers, where the role calls for it
  • Supported decision-making and person-centred practice
  • Cultural safety, and trauma-informed practice for the teams that need it

Records for the workers supporting you are available on request. If something is ever not right, our complaints process is set out on the contact page and you can always go directly to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
