How these are funded
NDIS plans are split into three budgets. Which one pays for a support depends on what the support is, not on who delivers it.

Core Supports
The most flexible budget. Usually covers personal care, assistance with daily life, community participation and consumables.

Capacity Building
Funds the supports that build skills — life skills development, support coordination, behaviour support and allied health.

Capital Supports
Assistive technology, equipment and home modifications. Tightly specified, and not transferable to other budgets.
